For the past five years Pro Angler Chris Lane has worn the Power-Pole logo across his chest. In 2012 Chris became the Bassmaster Classic Champion with Power-Pole front and center on his jersey. This week JL Marine Systems, Inc., maker of Power-Pole shallow water anchors announced that Power-Pole will continue to be the title sponsor with Chris Lane for another five years.
Chris won the Southern Open at the Harris Chain of Lakes in January and followed it up with the win at the Bassmaster Classic. Chris credits a big part of his victory to his Power-Pole Blade Edition anchors.
“One of the moments I will always remember during the second day of the classic is when I had a bite but missed the fish, I was able to stop and position my boat by putting down my new 10ft Power-Pole Blades, make a few more casts and caught a 5 pounder which was one of the keys to winning the Classic” said Chris Lane after his 2012 victory.
“We always believed in Chris, and it sure paid-off when Chris won the Classic” Said JL Marine Systems, Inc. Vice President, Robert Shamblin. “But it’s the relationship that we have with Chris that is most important to us. He has been an excellent representative for the Power-Pole brand during the past five years which makes the decision to extend our title sponsor relationship with Chris an easy decision.”
Chris Lane and Power-Pole are a winning combination.
